Ever since I was young, I have been naturally drawn to the satisfaction of hard work. By the age of twelve, I was already immersed in the world of renovations, absorbing every detail of finish work and home interior that a middle-schooler possibly could. At sixteen, I took a leap of faith and launched my own sole proprietorship, tackling renovation projects for local investors. However, I craved more consistent work to fill my schedule. One afternoon, a towering crane and a ten-man crew at an apartment complex site caught my attention. Intrigued, I stopped my car and asked for a job on the spot. That moment marked the beginning of my journey into framing. I spent the next two years learning about stick-built homes while continuing my renovation work in the evenings. Eventually, I felt I was ready to strike out on my own again, though I soon realized how much I still had to learn. In May of 2024, I took on my first house as a framing subcontractor. The challenges were immense, and the learning curve was steep; I found myself wishing I had stayed under my mentors a bit longer. Yet, even when the business side of things felt overwhelming, I remained persistent. I framed one house after another, falling in love with the grit of the process. Over time, I improve upon the art of managing a team and running a professional operation. Today, I pride myself on efficiency, leading my crew with precision, and prioritizing smart, safe craftsmanship over sheer physical strain. My commitment at Strivent Construction is to never stop growing, ensuring every piece of feedback we receive fuels our drive to provide better service for our clients.
